David Burke Townhouse

David Burke Townhouse is Chef Burke's flagship restaurant, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Townhouse menu reflects his talent for bold flavors and creative combinations of the finest seasonal ingredients. The kitchen here is the birthplace of many of Chef Burke's signature dishes, such as Angry Lobster, the Lobster Steak, the Pretzel-Crusted Crab Cake and Cheesecake Lollipops. We are delighted to customize a menu to suit the needs of your event.

Beautifully presented dishes here are a wonderful complement to Townhouse's gorgeous vibrant interior. The whimsical design features a striking pink Himalayan salt wall, an array of colorful hand-blown Venetian glass balloons, contemporary fabrics and wall coverings. It is a true reflection of Chef Burke's artistic vision.

The restaurant's 125 seat interior is an ideal setting for an elegant wedding or formal celebration dinner. For a more intimate event, the main dining room or the mezzanine offers the gracious proportions necessary for a special occasion dinner, while the bar area serves as a perfect space for a citified cocktail reception.

David Burke Fishtail

David Burke's sustainable seafood concept is located in a beautiful townhouse on East 62nd Street between Park and Lexington Avenues. David Burke Fishtail offers the freshest seafood, harvested by Chef Burke's company-owned fishing boat as well as the Hunts Point fish market. We would be delighted to work with you to create a menu of simply- or boldly-prepared seafood and non-seafood options, whether as passed hors d'oeuvres or an elaborate five-course dinner.

David Burke Fishtail's vibrant bi-level space seats up to 130 guests and features paintings and prints from local artists as well as pieces from Chef Burke's private collection.

The entire space is an inspiring location for a milestone birthday party or launch party. The front dining room easily accommodates a festive dinner party or luncheon for 80 guests, while the quieter back dining room is a perfect private space for an annual meeting, an intimate wedding reception or a retirement celebration.

David Burke Kitchen

David Burke Kitchen is Chef Burke's chic SoHo location at the James Hotel New York. Chef Burke's imaginative reinterpretations of classic American cuisine-from casual share plates to formally-presented dishes-are combined with a focus on locally-sourced ingredients. True farmer-to-table spirit is invoked here. Many of the selections are hearty and seductive, full of bold flavors born from traditional cooking techniques. At the same time, those who prefer lighter, less complex fare will be amply satisfied as well, with creative salads, whole chickens and snacks.
Complementing the myriad of dining options are the multi-level, indoor and outdoor spaces that comprise the restaurant. The main interior is inspired by the surrounding neighborhood and blends the cool, industrial simplicity of SoHo's airy lofts with the rustic warmth of a country abode. The dining room seats up to 130 and well suited for a boisterous dinner party or wedding. Upstairs, the glass-enclosed Treehouse Bar offers a birds-eye view of the bustling street below and easily plays host to a cocktail party or a surprise birthday bash.

In season, David Burke Garden, the restaurant's lush outdoor space, offers several options for seasonal gatherings. Verdant and vast, the entire Garden accommodates up to 350 for cocktails, a premiere party or a product launch. The smaller runway area features outdoor cabanas and is fitting for a ladies' luncheon or a cocktail reception. The Chef's Table is a unique gathering space for the chef's special guests, and makes any birthday or rehearsal dinner a truly special occasion. On another level, the Bird's Nest is more private and invokes an urban backyard, complete with comfortable casual outdoor seating. It is ideal for a baby or wedding shower or celebratory cocktails. Above that, the treetop-skimming Boat Landing is intimate, has dramatic views of the surrounding urban landscape, and is a unique setting for a casual get together.

David Burke Prime

Located amid the excitement of the world's largest resort casino, Chef Burke's spacious Foxwoods restaurant, David Burke Prime, offers ample opportunities to enjoy his inventive cuisine in a private or semi-private setting.

David Burke Prime is home to one of Chef Burke's patented Himalayan salt-lined dry-aging rooms, where his patented Salt Brick Beef ages for up to 100 days. The process infuses the steaks with a delicate flavor and tender texture. In addition to numerous cuts of beef, the menu here is vintage Burke, featuring both simple and bold preparations of seafood, poultry and seasonal vegetables. Prime's impressive glass wine tower is sure to catch your guests' eyes, soaring up three stories and housing 3,000 bottles of wine.

Our private dining room is the ideal place for a pre-wedding party. It is equally appropriate for a corporate meeting as it is media-equipped for presentations with a large-screen television, media projector and sound system. Semi-private options include a unique Skybox (overlooking the casino lobby), while the quiet rear dining room offers intimate seating for 120. A section of the back dining room with an elevated semi-private space called the Stage is the perfect spot for a rehearsal dinner.

David Burke Fromagerie

David Burke Fromagerie is located in Chef Burke's home state of New Jersey, in the bucolic town of Rumson. The menu here, which can be customized to suit your whims and desires, features elegant preparations of local fish (often harvested from the chef's company-owned fishing boat), meats, poultry and produce grown from our partners at the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Crowd pleasers include cuts of David Burke's Salt Brick Beef, as well as other beautifully-plated signature dishes, such as the Lobster Steak. Our pastry chef here can create a beautiful custom-designed cake or an array of tempting pastries.

Fromagerie offers several ways to host your special event in unique private settings. Upstairs, Chef Burke's collection of antiques, paintings, and nostalgic toys evokes a warm atmosphere for a family reunion or a casual party letting guests mingle from one room to the next.

David Burke Primehouse

Since its inception in 2006, David Burke's Primehouse has continued to redefine the modern American steakhouse by pushing the envelope of culinary creativity. The menu is marked by notable and whimsical dishes that are signature to the eclectic and innovative style of Chef David Burke, such as the Pretzel Crusted Crab Cake and Kobe Beef Sashimi on Himalayan rock salt.

An intimate new destination for special gatherings, Burke's Dining Room is a noteworthy addition to David Burke's Primehouse. Conceived as a modern interpretation of the classic "chef's table" meant for private dining, it serves to complement Chef Burke's progressive, whimsical fare.

A sophisticated setting within the acclaimed steakhouse, Burke's Dining Room seats up to 20 guests and features a striking, temperature-controlled wall of wine, contemporary furnishings and artwork. Its menu is ever changing and revolves around seasonal ingredients, with a Primehouse chef personally presiding over the preparation of each event.

Guests seeking a higher level of privacy have the option of dining in their own VIP venue above the restaurant. The versatile upstairs space at The James Chicago can accommodate events of various ambiances, from a relaxed lounge atmosphere to a 600-guest reception and everything in between. Each event provides restaurant-style dining with menus curated by David Burke's Primehouse.

David Burke Bloomingdale's

Located in the New York City iconic department store that is Bloomingdale's, our eat-in or take-out restaurant, Burke in the Box, is the epicenter of Chef David Burke catering.

The menu here is more casual, and features expertly-and beautifully-prepared sandwiches, salads, soups, and award-winning burgers, in addition to plates of wings or dumplings to share and heartier dishes as well. The location is quintessential Manhattan, with a glass wall that overlooks a bustling 59th Street. The space is perfect for a ladies' lunch or a festive birthday party. The bar area has a television and is ideal for a game day get-together. The separate seating area is convenient for a corporate breakfast or a festive birthday celebration.

Additionally, Burke in the Box can bring dishes to you anytime, anywhere, for parties large and small. We can deliver last-minute boxed lunches to a small group at a downtown office building, set up a buffet for a bridal shower at your home or impress with a formal spread for a wedding in the Hamptons. We handle every detail, from the napkins to the plates to the serving utensils.
